So we have this really tall (about 5 feet now) cactus that seemed to appear out of now where in the front of our house. From what I'm told they only show up or grow every 10 years and it means you're going to have lots of luck. The landlords said the 20 years they lived here they never saw it and this is the first year we've lived in this house.

How fast does a cactus grow anyways? Five feet seems large to me, will it get alot bigger?

I never heard of that either, living in Vegas.. cactus seems to be what alot of people choose for landscaping. Mostly the flat shrubbery kind with the long needles (pain in the foot lol) i got a few. I love that commercial "Don't Touch the Shaqtus"Ich bin sehr daran interessiert, Ihren Kaktus zu sehen, und was für eine sehr schöne Geschichte zu lesen!!
Davon habe ich auch noch nie gehört, da ich in Las Vegas lebe. Viele Menschen entscheiden sich offenbar für die Landschaftsgestaltung mit Kakteen. Meistens die flache Strauchart mit den langen Nadeln (Schmerzen im Fuß lol), ich habe ein paar bekommen. Ich liebe den Werbespot „Don't Touch the Shaqtus“ -

Wow...that is a some awesome looking cactus...
Just moved to the area full of cactus and wind dust(desert), I really miss my old home where there is plenty of views of flowers, trees, oceans everywhere...I don't think I will ever enjoy this dry place...
Tried to make at home, I planted so many flowers and vegetables but I doubt they will grow good...just trying for a miracle I guess...Wow...das ist ein toll aussehender Kaktus...
Ich bin gerade in die Gegend voller Kakteen und Windstaub (Wüste) gezogen und vermisse mein altes Zuhause wirklich, wo es überall viele Ausblicke auf Blumen, Bäume und Ozeane gibt ... Ich glaube nicht, dass ich diesen trockenen Ort jemals genießen werde. ..
Ich habe versucht, es zu Hause zu machen, ich habe so viele Blumen und Gemüse gepflanzt, aber ich bezweifle, dass sie gut wachsen werden ... Ich versuche nur, ein Wunder zu bewirken, schätze ich ... -
