TAAA you can get a 60 free trial download at http://office.microsoft.com
There is also another office suite available entirely for free called OpenOffice that you can download here: www.openoffice.org/ or on Cnet downloads site. I have used this one for years and it works almost the same as Word.

Yep, you are absolutely right blue... and OpenOffice has the entire suite, not just word processing, but spreadsheets, drawing, presentations etc... and their whole deal is that they are Open Source software... they believe in making these tools available without cost and if you are so inclined you can donate money if you want, but also time to test products and give feedback and actually get involved with the project in any number of ways... it is pretty cool all in all!
Ja, du hast absolut Recht, Blue... und OpenOffice verfügt über die gesamte Suite, nicht nur Textverarbeitung, sondern auch Tabellenkalkulationen, Zeichnungen, Präsentationen usw.... und das Ganze besteht darin, dass es sich um Open-Source- Software handelt... an deren Entwicklung sie glauben Diese Tools stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung, und wenn Sie möchten, können Sie Geld spenden, aber auch Zeit, Produkte zu testen, Feedback zu geben und sich auf vielfältige Weise am Projekt zu beteiligen ... Alles in allem ist es ziemlich cool !

If you are a student, you can get Microsoft word etc for a fraction of the price (well over here you can).

I've replaced Microsoft Office with Open Office three years ago and never looked back, it's just as good and it's free.
Ich habe Microsoft Office vor drei Jahren durch Open Office ersetzt und habe es nie bereut, es ist genauso gut und kostenlos.
