There's an island up for sale - a tiny island off the north west coast of Scotland - for the princely sum of around £2.5 million. The island is 800 acres and is called Tanera Mor and has been occupied since Viking times.

Not sure I'd want to be so isolated but it must be a wonderfully tranquil place to be.

Omg heck yes!! Every weekend id pack and be on the way to my island, that's just beautiful, I love the name too, I get one of those old time bathtubs, set it on the shore with an umbrella, over it, id hire a handsome waiter dress him in a very skimpy outfit, so every now and then I can watch his bootie as he walks away (just kidding)... i'd probably just drown in the surroundings and become drunk with tranquility

I would definitely buy an island if I had that kind of cash but maybe not in Scotland, the weather might not be too friendly.
Wenn ich so viel Geld hätte, würde ich auf jeden Fall eine Insel kaufen, aber vielleicht nicht in Schottland, da ist das Wetter dort vielleicht nicht so freundlich.

Yes, I would buy it. I don't mind the rain especially in the summer. In case I'm able to buy an island I think I would also buy a tropical one first and then this one in Scotland.

After living in this desert dry heat, for 9 months of a year, i wouldn't mind getting away to some cold and damp, some snow i wouldn't mind either, i'd just build me a little camp fire, maybe a portable fireplace right next to my tub lol

I can't stand the heat so English weather is perfect for me. That said, I wouldn't mind suffering a bit of desert dry heat in Vegas Imagin.
