I have no experience in poker. Would you guys know of a place where I can read about online poker and how is it played? I am into bingo right now but I am quite interested in what poker has to offer. Any poker site suggestions would likewise be appreciated.

I always suggest playing with play money first or free money that you can get from one or two poker sites.
Here is a list of free instant money and free bonus money available. Also I suggest playing freerolls. A good way to learn and you never know, you could win a fews bucks whilst learning.
Here is a very brief poker strategy and a sit and go strategy
Poker rules and hand rankings are available too.
I suggest Full Tilt Poker as it is a busy site, available to US residents and has plenty of freerolls. With the site being so busy, you are guaranteed a gaime. Their site has tons of helpful tools and tips to assist you too.
If you are not restricted to the US sites, I would suggest PKR for the amazing graphics and the fun factor. ;D Everything is 3D and its the closest thing to the real game.
